+Team_FussyPants
I placed my first cache about a month or so ago, and today I got a note in the cache log that just says "Mileage Tracker". I've seen these around before but never payed much attention to them. I figured is related to some sort of trackable such as a coin or bug, but now that the note is in my cache I really want to know what it means Quote Link to comment
+briansnat
Some people carry personal geocoins or travel bugs and "dip" them into every cache they find to track their mileage. It really isn't an accurate way to track your mileage because the TB assumes you are going directly from cache to cache. Quote Link to comment
+BlueDeuce
Yep. Normally people drop their personal travel bug (tracker) or dip a TB their are carrying when they log the found so you never see it. It's the people who forgot or are back-logging that have to add the extra note. They can delete the cache note without affecting the TB tracking. Quote Link to comment
