+Fizzfever Posted November 19, 2006 Share Posted November 19, 2006 I have a magellan sportrack color and I am having trouble transfering waypoints to the GPS using gsak. It seems that it can't talk to the gps and gives an error of sending waypoints to com port 3 and no data is being received from the gps I am running xp pro connnected to a serial port and I have turned the firewall off in case that was interfering. I have done it before and had had trouble but I can't remember how I did it. Thanks Quote Link to comment

If so have you tried changing the com port to com1? 2) Do you have any other software running that may have taken control of the serial port, Palm Hotsync, Mapping software etc. 3) Is the GSAK GPS setup set for Magellan?
