+timk54
I just,(finally) bought CN8 I tried it out last night and now I see what I was missing by not using this mapping. It didn't take to long to see that I needed more memory. Should I get the 1 gig trans flash or a 2 gig. Does the 2 gig work with the Vista Cx? CN8 takes up 1.5 gig so is there any reason to put it all on one chip. I am in California and drive mostly there or Nevada and Arizona on occasion. Thanks for the help smart guys and girls. timk54 Quote Link to comment
+El Diablo
2 gigs will work. I'm not sure you need that much. It will pretty much hold the entire USA. I have a 512 and it holds 22 states. I'm fairly certain that's all I'll ever need. El Diablo Quote Link to comment

El Diablo I just saw an FAQ on the Garmin website that states"1 gigabyte is the largest memory chip that will work on a Garmin X unit at this time? Are they wrong? Quote Link to comment
