2202
Like the Masons, if there was one, how would geocachers greet each other with a special handshake? Quote Link to comment
harrogate hunters
I thought there already was one ! You balance the GPS on your head, put both thumbs in your ears and wiggle your fingers about ! Quote Link to comment
TheRoundings
Like the Masons, if there was one, how would geocachers greet each other with a special handshake? You mean you don't know what it is after all this time? Quote Link to comment
Skate and Jane
Maybe while shaking hands use your free hand to lift up an article of their clothing as if to search for a cache. Quote Link to comment
MartyBartfast
You approach slowly, and then circle each other trying to get a bearing; all the time looking over your shoulder to check there are no muggle observers; when the coast is clear you nip in quickly, shake hands and then separate quickly trying not to look suspiscious. You balance the GPS on your head, put both thumbs in your ears and wiggle your fingers about ! Now that reminds me of a photograph of somebody with a yellow etrex on their head, or was it a banana? Can't 'Simply' imagine who that was? but would be funny to see that Paul photo again if anybody has it. I thought that was the traditional handshake? Quote Link to comment
kewfriend
if you credit my paypal account with a large amount of dosh, I'll let you know what the handshake is - as if! Edited November 18, 2006 by kewfriend Quote Link to comment
Alboy
I always thought it was a sign rather than a handshake, in the form of the Jeremy avtar...( a sort of pistol shape made under one's chin in thoughtful pose!) Someone brighter than me can prolly post the piccy! Quote Link to comment
Simply Paul
I recommend you walk towards each other, hands extended in the traditional manner. Moments before contact, have a sudden change of heart and swing a full 180 degrees clockwise on your heel, walk away from each other for three steps, realise you were right in the first place and turn again, anticlockwise this time, and then close and shake in the usual way. Yes that was the one I was thinking of thanks. I also found this one ;- Which makes me wonder who has had their photo on this forum the most?? Quote Link to comment
Simply Paul
If it's me, it's only because I feel the need to share. This, for example, is the only family-friendly shot I have from the Adult Film Awards, which was on at the Hammersmith Palais on Friday night. It would be wrong and unnatural to keep it to myself Quote Link to comment

Back to the topic. Couldn't cachers just high-five like Borat? Niiiice. Edited because I refuse to have the word 'dadgum' mucked about by overzealous forum software.
