fraggle69 Posted February 28, 2007 Posted February 28, 2007 How sweet. But rather than create a new cache why not pick a cache that you wouldlike to visit and contact the owner to ask if they would help you. You could then write a note to your girlfriend that would be addressed to her only. You could then post the letter to the cache owner and they could then place it on your behalf. The note could be a final clue which would say something like, look in the pocket of the one you love. She could then reach in and find the ring etc. You old romantic, you. Oss! +Macsels Posted February 28, 2007 Author Posted February 28, 2007 Thank you, thank you... Could be an event cache, not sure how many ppl would actually visit it in Ireland but ok... We currently haven't got any date planned, but we do prefer a time of year when it's not wet in Ireland...if there actually is anything like that... Quote
+Dorsetgal & GeoDog Posted March 1, 2007 Posted March 1, 2007 Could be an event cache, not sure how many ppl would actually visit it in Ireland but ok... Congratulations on your engagement, so pleased it all went according to plan! If you seriously want to consider an event cache in Ireland, I would suggest you contact Kili or bust, Windsockers and Hezekiah. They threw a brilliant event cache for us when we visited Dublin around the time of our birthdays last year. Even organised a days caching to boot! I got my max. number of caches in a day that day (14), and I think I was finally sober some 36 hours later! The geocaching Ireland website and their forum are the place to begin your planning. Very best of luck with whatever you decide! Quote
