+QFC
Sitting at my computer, having finally got connected after the great Sentech (sen-suck) purge of the November 2006 , I am faced with a dilemma, well more like question. We have all (well most) agreed that posting a found it log to your own cache is just not right. I mean you put it there so of course you “found” your one cache. I mean that would just not be cricket. So the question I am faced with is: “Can you attend your own event?” One could easily apply the same logic saying well daaaaa you created the event so of course you “attended” it, therefore no log. Right? Anyway for the moment I will leave my log as a Note. Quote Link to comment
+BlueDeuce
The system will technically allow you to attend your own event. I look at it this way, My stats show that these are the events I've attended, and these are the events I've hosted. I get all the credit I'm due. Getting a two counts for one event seems doesn't seem fair to me. Quote Link to comment

No wonder you need to log some attendeds Edited November 12, 2006 by BlueDeuce Quote Link to comment
+vespax
My .02 You get credit for hosting the event in your cache hidden section of your profile. That seems enough for me. I didn't log my find/attendance on my event. I thought it was the cost of organizing the event. So I would say no, but do what you want. Quote Link to comment
+GlobalRat
This has been debated on in numerous forums around the world... general consensus in the community seems that it's the only time it is cool to log your own cache. So, go for it. Quote Link to comment
+Team_Farmers
we agree with you GR! it takes time & effort to put together an event cache, especially the awesome scavenger rally on saturday! so go ahead, and if anyone gives you any problems, just tell them to come speak to Chuck! +webscouter.
If you were there you attended. If you hosted the event you hosted. I look at the "owned" event as a thank your for the work I did in the weeks before the event and the "attended" as a mark that I got to go. Quote Link to comment
