Markissa
Hello everyone I`m from Russia and I live in a very beautiful place-almost on the boarder btw Europe and Asia, the mountains are quite high here, but I was always afraid of going to climb them. This Sat.. as usual, our team picked me up and when I got into a car I asked where we were going. And the captain of our team said that this time it would be one of the highest Ural mountains in our region. I was shocked. But I wanted the cache!!! and so we went there, I was almost on the top of that huge mountain, guys climbed higher but they didn`t reach the cache as the wind was strong, the fog was thick and the rock was sooo slippery. The hight was 1150 metres, and I`m so proud of myself-I got there! We`ll be back there next time, when there`ll be no snow-in summer! Quote Link to comment
caledonia
That's one of the main things I enjoy about geocaching is going places I never would have, or known about. Have fun! =) Quote Link to comment
