Caching Journal

Hi all,

 

Some of you may keep a journal of every cache you do in your little black book, other of the caching sheet and others just in their heads.

 

I have recently started with a little "black book" of my own, but have pre-printed pages containing the following:

 

Name of cache

Date and time

General notes/comments

Trading item in and out

TBS and geocoins in and out

Waypoints (If you need to take down additional waypoints, i.e. on multi's)

Other cachers with you

 

I has place to log 100 caches and is one cache per page in an A6 (quarter of an A4) size booklet.

 

I have also found that some blank pages for just notes, i.e. coins discovered over a chat, a nice place to put your next cache, etc may also be handy in the back of such a journal.

 

What do you have? What size, i.e. A5, A6, bigger?

I saw Warthog's creation and must say that it is a neat little notebook. Later in the day I was ruing not taking Warthog up on his offer to test out the notebook. It was just the right size too.

 

I declined coz I lost my little book. Must say though that it is a nifty idea especially with all the predefined spaces for info. No risk of flat batteries on PDA's or lot's of loose papers to lose.

 

Just thought of a nifty addition to your notebook, will discuss at the next gathering.

And what if some one wants to get a blank copy of your little booklet? Are you selling? Would make a nice prize at a cache event I would think.

That would be us We have just finished our first little black book, which is now full of cache details, what we tool/ left, telephone numbers, hints, torn out pages and many a small rambling in unintelligible writing.

 

The second book has been neglected for the last 6 caches, but we will take a break from life soon and catch it up (we hope).
