+Cracker in the Hat Posted November 5, 2006 Share Posted November 5, 2006 I have launched a travel bug that someone has carried to a foreign land for me...I didn't check it into a cache near home, so the first part of the journey was not looged (With regard to distance travelled) Is there a way to fix this? +BlueDeuce Posted November 5, 2006 Share Posted November 5, 2006 You can coordinate this with the current holder or wait til it's dropped into a cache In the cache. 1. Retrieve the bug from the current cache. 2. On the orig cache, log a note POST DATED and drop the bug. ( you can just say "logging bug") 3. Retrieve the bug from that cache POST DATED. 4. Post a note on the current cache and drop the bug. 5. On the Bug Page, delete both the logs showing that you retrieved and dropped the bug in the current cache. You can delete the note on the current cache as well This will leave it in the cache and show the last cacher was the one to drop it. Or grab it from the holder, do the back drop and have them grab it back. Quote Link to comment
