We're at the point in our location-based forums that we think it is working well enough to show to you guys. There are some known issues (like RSS feeds don't quite work), but you can post and search the forums just fine. Here is some info on how it would work with categories and waymarks.

 

Let's say, for example, you wanted to post a topic in the Ginormous Objects category:

Or lookup topics in the category:

Or, you wanted to post a topic about a specific waymark, like The Last Son of Krypton:

Or you wanted to find posts about The Last Son of Krypton:

You can even do a location-based search. In the upper right hand corner of the page is the search button. Hit the button with no keywords and you can select a point of origin to search from.
