+Cryptik Souls Crew
I saw an article on the web about a guy who built a flexible solar charger for his ipod to stick on his rucksack I looked into it a bit to see how much it was for the parts he used and there is a price break at 20 units, so I reckon I could get the bits for around £20 - £25 including postage from the states if 20 people wanted them. Anyone interested? Stick it on your back or rucksack while out walking to get a bit of charge for all those power hungry gadgets! Think I would lose the gaffer tape and go for some velcro on mine though.... Quote Link to comment

+Globetrotter.uk
I have been using a solar charger for the past few years, it charges 4 AA cells and any item plugged into it. I place it into a strong ziploc document pouch and attatch it using plastic clips to any bag I carry depending on my adventure. Quote Link to comment

+Cryptik Souls Crew
Cool idea! If it's not a secret...where in the states were you getting these panels? The panels are made by Iowa Thin Film Technologies and have several distibutors in the USA They aren't as cheap as rigid solar panels, but the flexibility and weight saving more than makes up for it in my book.
