Is there someone that can explain to a non-english what does "tadpole" means?

I know that it is the title for forum members with less than 10 messages, but I'd like to know the meaning of the word...

TIA

Girino huh?

That sounds like Green-O.

How do you speak to a foreigner? You add an O to everything. :P

Green-0 = Green.

Green = Inexperienced and Green = Signal the Frog.

Signal the Frog = Geocaching

Tadpole = Girino = Green-O = Green = Inexperienced Frog = Inexperienced Geocacher?

Coincidence? I think not!

It was not a stupid question, nothing wrong with wanting to know what the forum is calling you. :P Also, asking the forum is "Internet search" isn't it. :(

I believe the poster was making a joke about how ignorant people think the way to sound like, or talk to, an Italian- or Spanish-speaking person is to put "O" on the end of English words.
