Garmin Etrex Vista custom fields?

I have a Garmin Etrex Vista.

 

In the navigation screen under the "Goto" feature, can the fields be changed by the user? When I'm closing on a cache site, I don't really need to know my speed, but the current accuracy and time of day would be helpful.

Select menu then select:

 

Change Data Fields

 

Highlight Speed

 

Pull Down Menu

 

Scroll to Accuracy of GPS and select

 

Done

And you can can have a completely different data set for the Small Compass screen. That lets you quickly flip between two different sets.

Well, my screen/menu choices weren't exactly as shown (the screen shots are a nice touch, by the way), but I was able to get closer than I had yet AND find a new feature, thanks to both of you.

Hey Prime Suspect! Could you explain what you mean by the Small Compass Screen (are you referring to the small arrow that appears in the top corner of the map screen), please?
