Da Rubber Chicken Posted October 20, 2006 Posted October 20, 2006 At the moment I am ooohhhhhing and eerrrrrrrrrrrring wether to make my own personal Geocaching Website? So I ask you have you got one and is it worth the bother? Quote
barryhunter Posted October 20, 2006 Posted October 20, 2006 Personally I would say that if it would be a bother then it wouldnt be worth the bother, but if you would enjoy doing it then go ahead. (I don't really have a geocaching website, but the bits of the sites I invloved that are relevent to geocaching I still have enjoyed and I think others have enjoyed which is enough reason for me...) +The Flying Boots Posted October 20, 2006 Posted October 20, 2006 We have a personal website but it's not specific to Geocaching and we love to look at other peoples(geocachers) personal web pages whether they are about geocaching or not. So go ahead and do it. We'll read it. Quote
+Teasel Posted October 21, 2006 Posted October 21, 2006 If you build it, they will come! I've got one and it's definitely worth the bother - just don't let it take over your life so much that you've no time left to go geocaching! Quote
+The Hancock Clan Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 we have 2 websites that we use for 2 of our special caches. When cachers find these caches we give them a password and they can then share their photos etc with other cachers that have found it. Quote
+Big Wolf Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 (edited) Put a nice simple one myself www.bigwolf.co.uk and it gets a fair number of hits. It was put together originally as a place to send people to who want to know a little bit more about what is all about. I'd say go for it if you can be bothered Edited October 24, 2006 by Big Wolf Quote
Edgemaster Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 Ahh, the wonders of having a website. I've tried before, but cant get motivated to get it finished. I've had one up for ages as a temporary site until I CBA to do it. Still, I keep some cool tools and stuff in my open directory... Quote
