BTW, I sent Clay4 an email asking him/them to delete one of their attendeds. It appears to be an accidental double post. I don't want to alarm them with a deletion notification, so I am giving them a chance to get rid of it...if all else fails, I'll get it done myself.

 

Even if we don't have Mega this time, if we are close enough, they may let the next one list as Mega ahead of time, whick will raise awareness of the event.

I put all the names that I know that attended. For the parties I knew the number, I added them. Some of the logs indicate more that one person, but since I don't know for sure, I didn't fill them in. If any of you can help me fill in the blanks...it will save a lot of email time!

I was flying solo for the event, but I could easily be counted twice because of my size.

 

The SAM part of Parents of SAM should definitely be included in the count? Those three little girls were pretty active running around trading.

Speaking of late logging, there are still a whole lot of travel bugs and coins logged into the event.

 

The Temecula event also still has a whole lot of travel bugs and coins logged into the event.

 

It would be nice if folks were to catch up on retrieving them....

Events are often used as places to dump lost travel bugs or coins (speaking from experience) so a few may spend a long time on the Coinfest inventory.

I lugged home 47 coins from trades, plus the 52 I picked up as third place in the Geocoin Poker. 1 more and I would have had an even 100, wish I would have known.

Counting various metals and such, I added 53 new coins to my collection from coinfest

Those were donated by Groundspeak. Maybe you could request that they make those a store item.

We have just got around to counting/organizing the coins we got from GCF.

 

The girls and us came home with:

 

71 Coins

8 Wooden Nickels

7 Pathtags

13 Pins

10 Siggy Items

 

These are all from trades that we did. It does not count the coins we bought or got as gifts or got in the raffle/goodie bag.

 

So wow.....we did good! Or well at least the girls did good. Most were their trades.

 

The girls got some really nice gifts from people: SummerandNana made each one of them a beautiful little container full of goodies, the Cach-U-Nuts hid a special cache in Utah for the girls full of geocoins. Oshndoc gave the girls lots of great MardiGras beads (which they LOVE). Team LegGoes gave them each a special collectible coin. GoJayBee gave them a Tabasco bottle.

 

Others also gave them stuff as they went all around the room trading. Sorry I can not thank all of them by name but we appreciate everyone being so nice to our girls!

Ok, I finally got through the log book, and added all the names that are in that, but haven't logged online yet. I also got the list in alphabetical order...here is where we stand...
