Universal Auto Mount

I'm looking for a universal auto mount with a suction cup to attach to the car window to hold my GPSr. I want to be able to clamp the unit in and be able to quick release when leaving the car.

Has anyone seen a resonably priced one anywhere? I found one, but it seemed a bit pricey at over $40.

You don't say what GPSr you have.

 

My wife uses an Ipod windshield mount for her Etrex Legend CX. It works great. It cost about $25 at Best Buy IIRC. I just wedge my Legend CX against the dash top and window.

Some cars have pop-out cup holders in the dash which are in just the right place to make a useful and no-cost mount

Just my opinion here -

 

I tried many "universal" auto mounts for my 60c ......

 

I finally got a non-garmin but GPS60c specific mount & have never looked back.

 

Believe me, its worth every penny of the 18 - 21 bucks I paid for it.

Just do a google search for your GPS unit "+AUTO MOUNT", compare prices & buy it.
