That waymark is on the Butterfield Overland Mail route established by John Butterfield that ran through Texas to Califonia. The route I'm interested in was the Butterfield Overland Dispatch, founded by David Butterfield that ran from Missouri to Denver thru Kansas. The limestone markers I would like marked run from near Fort Ellsworth, KS to the Kansas/Colorado state line.
