There are several "beginner" caches around, search on zip 92109 and read the logs. Just don't try the water caches at this time of the year Quote Link to comment

If you get the chance, head up to the top of soledad mountain for some great views (la jolla and downtown san diego) and a couple of caches. Quote Link to comment
