+storm1 Posted October 4, 2006 Posted October 4, 2006 i've attended some events where fellow cachers have made their own custom name tag to where on a lanyard (instead of the hand written stick on type that everyone else was wearing). i would like to see some examples if anyone has any. Quote
+tands Posted October 4, 2006 Posted October 4, 2006 I don't have a picture, but at our Midlands SC Geoholics Anonymous Meetings we have the clear plastic holder with a clip that holds a white card that each cacher can customize. At the end of the meetings most attendees just put there tag back in a basket so it'll be at the next meeting for them. That's why I can't send you a picture. We've found this to be a great way that's inexpensive to keep folks from always having to re-do their tags. T of TandS Quote
+CYBret Posted October 4, 2006 Posted October 4, 2006 I know it'd be totally geeky, but I've kicked around the idea of getting one of these for events. Bret Quote

+MrCOgeo Posted October 5, 2006 Posted October 5, 2006 Here's one that RocketMan generously made and donated to me and a bunch of CO geocachers at a recent event. Thank you RocketMan! He and his assistants hauled out laptops, printers, materials (at his cost) and some patience when the line got long. Even had the option to bring our own designed one on a thumb drive and voila a custom CO event name badge: (Heck, if you couldn't be present at the event later he even mailed a bunch that he made as well. Well enough gushing...see if he ever does that again. At least now we can all look "dorky" together at CO events...) Quote
+Shadow_Coyote Posted October 19, 2006 Posted October 19, 2006 Give everyone a TB neklace, and ask people to log each other, and on the TB page, have their name and GeoIdentity - LOL, costs lots of $$$ and time to set it up...cool though, and cheaper then LED's Quote
Clan Riffster Posted October 19, 2006 Posted October 19, 2006 At the Survivors Two (The Second Anniversary) event, the hostess supplied each attendee with a bandana bearing their first name and geohandle. The color of the bandana determined which team you would be on. Quote
