+tirediron
I'm looking for some new BC-related/Western Cdn themed 'coins. I have heard a rumour of a new BC Geocoin, but haven't seen any info on it. Does anyone have info or a source? Thanks! Quote Link to comment
+Landsharkz
Are you specifically looking for a personal, regional group, or provincial geocoin? Trackable or non-trackable? There is a lovely new Alberta coin that seems to fit this request. There is the Quigley Jones personal coin of a Grand Banks schooner. We have some of those to put for sale on our site shortly. There's also our new Landsharkz signature coin that has a sailboat (in the gulf islands). Very soon, we'll have a new personal coin for a cacher on the island. All the above are trackable coins. The new BC coin is still just a rumour, sorry. We still cannot confirm or deny that we have an approved design on the board in our studio until we get the go-ahead from the powers-that-be (a skunk this time, not a frog) . If you're in town, you're welcome to pop by, you never know what you'll find posted on the wall... plus you can get your coins for less in person than through our site as we avoid paypal fees and shipping. +Scruffster
There is a 2007 BCGA geocoin that will be released to members. You can see it in the news article at: http://www.bcgeocaching.com/ Signed, The Skunk. Quote Link to comment

+Scruffster
At this point in time the BCGA is only accepting membership applications from people living within British Columbia. The coins are intended to be very exclusive. As part of a membership drive, they will not be available to non-members. We didn't think there would be a huge demand outside the province. I apologize to the geocoin collectors out there. Quote Link to comment
