+WebChimp
Was hiding a geocache on land adjacent to land owned by the National Park Service, and found this marker. The faded witness post next to it declared "US Boundary". The markings were USDI 3H .F0T1 1951 NPS Can anyone tell me if these are tracked online anywhere? It was set in a 6" square concrete post, and appears to be a brass disc. Quote Link to comment
2oldfarts (the rockhounders)
WebChimp, most of the NPS markers are not listed in the NGS database and I don't think they have an on-line database at the NPS. I think we have only found 1 NPS disk that was in the NGS database. Sorry we can't offer more. There is the option of listing it on Waymarking. John Quote Link to comment
