+Suurnesu
Hi all, I will be attending a conference in late October in San Antonio. I plan to do some caching but also I might be interested in upgrading my GPSr. I would like to ask if you could recommed a store close to GCHH18 which sells GPS receivers, both "traditional" and bluetooth. +Jamie Z
Suurnesu, I'm not familiar at all with the San Antonio area, but I can offer a few suggestions. Since you still have time, I recommend researching and purchasing a GPS online, now. Have it sent to a friend or your hotel in which you'll be staying while you're here. GPSs are substantially cheaper through online retailers than at a store. If you really want to buy a GPS in a store, again I'm not familiar with San Antonio, but give Walmart or Bass Pro Shops a try. There should be several of these stores in and around the city, but as I stated above, their prices are much higher than if you purchase online. Jamie Quote Link to comment
+Yamahammer
In Texas, you might also try Academy Outdoors and Sports. Its a regional sporting goods retail chain. Quote Link to comment
