+sbell111 Posted September 26, 2006 Posted September 26, 2006 Have fun. I think that the amount of fun you have on your first hunt is related to the amount of prep that you do. - Select a cache with a fairly low difficulty rating. - Consider a large cache, instead of a micro. - Perhaps you could target a specific park so you are more likely to enjoy the cache location. - Remember that bug spray if you are going to be in the woods. Crossed a river - it was on the other side...crossed the river again - and it was STILL on the other side....came back 3 hours later and everyone was gone....My first Hunt and my first DNF... I envy you... Quote

What a nice hike that was, and thanks to my oldest Daughter (who decided to go along with my Son, middle Daughter and I) we found the cache, and a very nice view of Buzzards Bay!!! Thanks all for the kind words, and TTYL!!!! Quote
