+braymon2
I'm trying to get started in geocaching and thought I'd begin with EasyGPS before I move on to premium membership and other download programs. Everytime I try to download local caches to EasyGPS I get the following error message: C:Documents and Settings\Bill|Local Settings\Temporary Internet files\ Content.IE5\JMG37L8D\geocaching[1].loc Invalid menu handle What am I doing wrong and what do I need to do to download these caches so I can upload to my Garmin 76CSx? Appreciate any advice. Bill R. (braymon2) Quote Link to comment
+El Diablo
I may be wrong, but I don't believe you can down load caches to your GPS unless you are a premium member. El Diablo Quote Link to comment
k1w1t1m
Download the files to My Documents>My GPS>Geocaches or something similar. Then open EasyGPS and "file open" from the folder you saved them in. Then you can modify the waypoints (make it a geocache chest etc) and then upload them to your GPSr. Quote Link to comment
ninemileskid
I just download mine into a folder on my desktop. Then I'll either double-click on them from that folder, or open them from EasyGPS. good luck.... Quote Link to comment
+Night Stalker
All I do is click on file open in EasyGPS. Any GPX file on my desktop will appear. I just click on the file I want to load into EasyGPS. I normally load 2 files and then load them using EasyGPS into my GPS. You will need to be a Premium member to create a pocket query with the GPX file format. Quote Link to comment

All you have to do is be"registered" member to download cache information from geocache.com... Quote Link to comment
