+TeamHarrison
<EDIT - Correction for the title. The unit is a SporTrak Map, not a SporTrak Pro!> A co-worker just sold me a Magellan SporTrak Map GPSr. She had all of the paper documentation (User's Manual, Accessories Listing, Accessory Order Forms, etc.), but cannot find the MapSend software that I believe should have come with it. I've found references online that show the MapSend software being "in the box" with this model and other sites that fail to reference it. Can anyone confirm if it indeed is supposed to have that software? Is there anyway to download it from Magellan's site or elsewhere? I certainly don't want to pay for it again if it was licensed for use with the original unit. Thanks, friends! Edited September 22, 2006 by TeamHarrison Quote Link to comment
robertlipe
Sometimes they were bundled with the map s/w and sometimes they weren't. You'll have to ask the seller if that specific one did or not. Quote Link to comment
+Night Stalker
I thought the SporTrak map came with all of the US TOPO preinstalled. Am I thinking of a different unit? Quote Link to comment
robertlipe
Night Stalker is likely thinking of the "SporTrak Topo". Magellan has (had) several members of the SporTrak line; some were only peripherally related to the others. Topo is one of the lesser known products. Quote Link to comment
