+chris2537 Posted September 17, 2006 Share Posted September 17, 2006 i have had a rino 130 for a while now and have been using easygps with no problem last night i bought a etrek leagend and today i added some waypoints onto it with easygps then i went back to my rino to go and try to download some waypoints but now all i get when i go to send it to the gps is a gps error: the serialport could not be opened. i tried unplugging the cable from the computer and it did the same thing and yes i have the rino as the gps to send my waypoints to can anyone help! +oldsoldier Posted September 17, 2006 Share Posted September 17, 2006 When you open easyGPS, go to tools (I think), then GPS, and find new one. Its somewhere in the toolbar. Whats happening is that it is trying to read one device, while you have another plugged in. Quote Link to comment

+oldsoldier Posted September 18, 2006 Share Posted September 18, 2006 Did you go into "GPS" In the toolbar? Then "Send waypoints", there should be a dropdown menu, asking which GPS to use. If that doesnt do it, then I have no clue Quote Link to comment
