+plazmo
Can anyone tell me about the Garmin eTrex Vista Cx. Quote Link to comment
Pyro37976
I have a vista cx and love it. It comes with a removable memory card, electronic compass, barometric altimeter, lunar schedule, automatic route generation, off-route recalculation, turn-by-turn directions with alert tones, and decent accuracy. It is a nice mid-priced GPSr that is great for Geocaching. For my information go to http://www.garmin.com/products/etrexVistacx/ . Edited September 10, 2006 by Pyro37976 Quote Link to comment

explorerboy
My familly has one and it is an awsome machine. Waterproof, shock-resistant, averages waypoints, proximity points, sun & moon, hunting & fishing predictions. It's got almost everything. Quote Link to comment
+sixfingers
I can't add a whole lot to what the others have written except that I have one and I love it. My wife is going to "surprise" me with a larger memory card for christmas. The one that comes with it is fine, it's 32mb I just wanted one a little bigger. You also have to purchase a map program in order to get detailed maps of city streets etc. I use Map Source City Select North America. It allows the unit to recalculate routes if you miss a turn, there are some programs that will not allow the unit to do that. Edited September 11, 2006 by sixfingers Quote Link to comment
