Acheter un GPS récepteur à Paris / Buying a GPS receiver in Paris

Recommended Posts

Je voudrais acheter un GPS récepteur à Paris. Recommandations?

Pardon my horrible broken French. Since it is a French-language forum, I figured that I should at least try. I'm in Paris, and need to buy a GPS receiver (bluetooth would be great, but not required). Any recommendations on locations with a good selection would be tremendously appreciated!

Merci! Thank you!

Julian

I'm from Québec, Canada so, I wouldn't know. But, you can always check out http://forum.geocaching-france.com/index.php the France forum.

Just be aware that french prices for these items tend to be horrendous compared to the US !

May be a better deal to have someone from your hometwn in the US send one to you.

For ex. the Garmin 60CX I got via a friend in the US costs here n France about 600 Euro while it cost me 360 bucks.

Someone has to subsidise the generous socialo communist system no

Now if you persist you can try Internet vendors like

http://www.rueducommerce.fr/home/index.htm

I buy from this company things like PCs, mem, digital camera as service is quite important.

If you are resident in Paris and getting things shipped from the US is not an option, try Aspidshop (Google for them) in Portugal. I have found them fast, efficient, and (by European standards) cheap.
