Problems with cache image page

Sometimes when I visit the cahe "Visit the Gallery (x images)" page, not all the picture thumbnails work. When I click on some images it just returns me to the cache listing page rather than to that image/log page.

 

What am I doing wrong?

I think you will find that the thumbnails which don't work are photos taken by the cache owner when they have set up the page. If you hover over the "photo frame" on the cache listing page, it will bring up an enlarged version.

Thanks for the reply. I'm not sure what you mean by 'hover over the "photo frame" on the cache listing page'. I know what hovering means but not sure what the photo frame is on the listing page.

It's the little square icon beside the image name:

An image that has been uploaded to a cache listing page, can only be accessed from the cache page. Clicking on the pictures whilst in the gallery does one of two things.

 

1. A cache listed picture takes you back to the cache page to access the picture from there.

2. A log listed picture takes you to the log that the picture is listed on.

 

(For people using Firefox & Greasemonkey this is different).

 

This icon which can be seen on the cache pages and logs, can be hovered over to show a decent sized thumbnail of the picture which is listed.

Try uploading these scripts the Gallery Enhancer will make viewing the gallery a lot better.
