+Wile E. Dragonfly
245 from College Station TX. Houston is only 96 miles south east of here and Austin is 107 miles west of here... Austin has 1526 and Houston has 2031. We tend to make trips out to the state parks for caching events... especially as we've very nearly found all of those in our town. Only 22 left to find within 15 miles... With the cooler fall weather approaching (or so they say) weekend camping trips and caching will soon begin and we already have several state parks pegged for trips. We can't wait for that to happen! My mom, up in rural Kansas, has only 99 within 50 miles... Enough to keep her occupied for a while, but it does show that caching is an easier to participate in hobby in more urban areas! +SGT red jeep
In 50 miles, a whopping 24 caches of which 9 are mine. 2 of the newest ones remain unfound because of high gas prices and at 43 cromes, I'm looking at about a 150 mile round trip. Quote Link to comment
+norsehawk
Wow, from reading all the responses, I thought the tampa bay area was pretty cache saturated, but now I see that it is around the middle, some areas have extremely low numbers, some extremely high. I just need to get cracking and find more Quote Link to comment
