It rained on the way up, it rained the majority of the time we were there, it rained some on the way home but did dry up some also. It was spectacular! About eight years ago, the pre-kids Ladybug Kids spent a week in that neck of the woods and did hike into Gates of the Arctic NP from Nolan and then popped up over Atigun Pass to hike into the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. I'm sure I will feel I need to go back next year for better pictures and a hike into Gates lol. I really like pictures with interesting skies though so this trip gave me so many opportunities.
