Just wondering?

I just recently noticed a post on a cache page that stated that the geocoin that was suppose to be in that cache is missing. A few of the cachers I know and myself think we know who took it. I checked the profile and the cacher has that identical coin but with the cachers name in front of the geocoins name. The only difference that I can see is two letters for the reference number are switched. Is it ethical to change the name of a geocoin and would that allow you to get a different reference number? The coin came up missing and within a few days the suspect cacher in the area released the same coin?!? Swizzle
