+Romans1116
Please consider supporting the new Natural Land Formations group. The goal is Waymarking natural land formations that look like something other than rocks or dirt - for instance, an animal or person. I remember regularly passing an "Indian profile" rock formation on the way to my grandparents' house as a kid and I recently found some "pigs" in a crater. I'm sure that others know of such sights too. Let's get them marked. Check out the group at: http://www.Waymarking.com/groups/details.a...d2-6b241fe44713 Romans1116 Link to comment
+Dew Crew
There is already a category: Simulacra that marks these. Link to comment
+Romans1116
Thanks for pointing it out. Now I've also learned a new word. But I suggest that somehow a more searchable term or phrase be added to this category. Please consider supporting the new Natural Land Formations group. +RakeInTheCache
There is already a category: Simulacra that marks these. According to the Simulacra definition, only objects looking like animals or humans are allowed. What about Ship Rock for example in New Mexico which is a rock formation which looks like a ship? +chstress53
As leader for that group, I goofed,I will change the way it reads. I did say inanimate objects but was going for a good definition, but guess I missed that when I said only animals and humans. I will make the change. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. By the way I used Giants, resemblance, stone, wood, & natural as searchable terms, I am open to suggestions. Edited August 23, 2006 by chstress53 Link to comment
