Received my antique copper set today, and -- wow -- they're great! I even got #002 for all four coins. :D I even left space in my coin binder for new cars that may pull into the station next year.

 

Glad you guys liked them,,,

I opened the box and it was like., WOW..

 

Cant wait til next year,,

 

ohhh and a secret... There will be a steam engine next year.. but dont tell :D

Will you try to give preferencial treatment to people who already have certain sets?

 

I ordered a gold set, and I'd like to keep my set that color with the additional train pieces. Will you be trying to match up new releases with previous orders?

Yes.. I have a list here with who got what and when the time comes for the new set...

they will be able to get there metals to match what they have

 

There will also be just an engine and caboose minted in a different metal for those that missed out on the 06 set.

 

However.. the cars that were minted: ie. ammo car & Box car , were once and done.. and wont ever be reminted

Funny you said that. That bothered me also.

I contacted the minter and they told me that when they make my 07 coins, they will make the couplers bigger so they can fit into the existing cars and link properly at the base...

hurrah mine arrived. bronze set in number i requested TY(14), all safely put away to admire and nickle set in number 114 (you even managed to get a 14 on my nickel set TY so much) all activated. gave 2 of my nickel cars to fiancee so he got a treat out of it too (but main engine was mine!) :P

 

btw did you decide on the icon and when will it appear?

So sad that I missed this set. I have just recently gotten hooked on geocoins and figured out that the forums are a place to get some of the coolest sets of coins. Please put me on a list for the engine and caboose and new sets. Maybe I can find a 06 set some place to get.

That always drives me crazy..

I am in Pa... and I can ship 1 set to someone in Pa and another to someone in Ca. and the Ca. person gets theirs 1st..

As I said before...

I am going to run some of these with JUST the engine and caboose,,

 

Since I dont want to use a metal I have alreadty used

 

I am going to make it in either Foggy Silver or Foggy Gold

 

What is the consensus of the group?

We are good..

actually u do have the number he requested... but he said he is ok with it..

 

I know these numbered series are important to people.. the sorting of the little tiny numbers

was enough to make me think I was cracking up...

 

used a mag glass.. but still was tough going...

 

so if I get by with one or two fixable mistakes.. I am happy

i do! i kept the main train and the car with the ammo cans for me to activate and gave zr7 the other two to activate and we also kept a whole set back for our collection :blink:

Great job on these guys Ranger216. I got mine in Alabama on Friday. Sure wished I had watch the tread after I ordered, I would of like to had some in the other metals. Oh well, thems the breaks!

I am minting JUST the engine and caboose in Foggy Gold and Fogggy Silver..

 

There will be a 2007 edition of cars and those cars will need an engine.. thus the reason for the reminting
