Garmin screen acting funny...

My screen is fading in and out and has lines going across it at times. Somtimes, it starts up no problem. Others...weird. Emailed Garmin support, haven't heard back. Wanted to see if peoples on here had any ideas of what might be causing it.

I did...and I saw that one. It's not the same thing mine is doing.

Sounds like your ribbon connection is coming loose. It is a well documented problem with the Legend. If the unit is still under warranty, Garmin will fix it for you for free. If not, you can probably fix it yourself.

I am also having similar problems but think it is the last bunch of batteries I bought. Off brand cheapies. I have had no problems now that I am using "good" ones again. Give it a shot!
