+mooreadventures Posted August 18, 2006 Posted August 18, 2006 I often fumble around when writing HTML code - it would be nice to have a "Preview" button that could be clicked when submitting/editing a cache description - the result could be displayed in a new window. It wouldn't have to show the entire page, just the description. Could it be done?
+StarBrand Posted August 18, 2006 Posted August 18, 2006 Simply uncheck the "currently active" box and you can preview it without anybody reviewing it. Then when it is perfected you can re-mark it.
+alexrudd Posted August 21, 2006 Posted August 21, 2006 Write the HTML somewhere else and copy it in. If you're going for really complicated, flashy pages with lots of images, fonts, color, etc. spare us and keep it simple.
+mtn-man Posted August 21, 2006 Posted August 21, 2006 I like StarBrand's solution better actually. Third party applications sometimes add what I call "bad HTML". The geocaching page may or may not strip it out and you might find the results undesirable. Previewing within the cache page probably is best, and doing in StarBrand's manner gives you a WYSIWYG look.
