The name (obviously) is to celebrate where we have come in the last year since Hurricane Katrina hit on Aug 29, 2005. We are looking for beautiful cool weather to enjoy good friends, good food, good geocaching. Look for details at GCX2YM. The park has a nice lake, hiking trails, camping, cabins, golf, playgrounds.
