Kaaskopjes
Hi, We're in Chicago for a couple of weeks and will be doing a Geocaching Roadtrip around Wisconsin next weekend. Can anybody suggest a good store to stop by for GPSr. Our PDA/GPS is good, but we would like to pick up something like the Garmin Etrex Vista and a low cost/simple unit for the kids... Any suggestions? We will be passin Milwaukee, Fond Du Lac, LaCrosse, Savanna and Rock Falls on our round trip back to chicago. We'd prefererably like to buy the equipment before or at the beginning of the road trip. Any recommendations for stores please? Thanks Kaaskopjes Quote Link to comment
HDCampers
Any good sporting goods store usually has them. Around Fort Wayne you can find them at Dick's, Gander Mountain and even Wal-mart has several to choose from. Might be a good place to start for you. Quote Link to comment
+Cache us Clay
Garmin will be opening a store in downtown Chicago "in time for the holiday season". I can't find an exact date yet. The address will be at 669 N Michigan. Quote Link to comment

+fireman121
I have to agree with onionpond Wal-mart does suck. I would buy it from somewhere that they can answer your question with a reasonable correct answer. There doesn’t seem to be that much of a price difference between stores, so that shouldn’t be a factor. Quote Link to comment
