Multiple check box list varible type

When setting up variables for a new category, I don't see an option to have a list with check boxes allowing the user to select multiple items. The radio button is similar to what I want, but I want to be able to select more than one item.

I did end up doing that, but it is not as finished looking. Is there a way to make the multiple check boxes into a table instead of a long list?

This is at the top of my list for waymark features!! I think it is in the works.

Sure, you can create a check box for each options, but this is cumbersome and cluttered.
