currykev
I have 1 breath strip near my workplace that has been around 6 months and is out in the open...and it has had its log only replaced once only.Maybe I'm lucky. They aren't my preferred type, especially as they're 90p and I hate the contents. But they are good for attaching magnetically to the "usual" surfaces and objects. Railings, signs, phone boxes and photo booths. So they do have a place in our micro society. Long Live the Micro. Quote Link to comment
TMM-Sarah
And the slip of paper in it is usually soaking wet! And I have a new dry log at the ready..(just in case) I sealed mine with Silcone sealant before setting it. Never had to change the log in it yet Gareth Quote Link to comment

The Cache Hoppers
Does this mean that halitosis is non-existent in the caching society? And did Currykev just happen to have a pic of one of those containers on his 'puter? That's what I call dedication to our cause. Quote Link to comment

currykev
And they're 15p a pop out here.... I'll have a dozen then. But you may have trouble putting them in your hand luggage into UK. "Security at all airports in the UK has been tightened and delays are reported. MI5 has raised the UK threat level to critical - the highest possible."...from the BBC website. Quote Link to comment
rutson
Just watching CNN's sensationalist coverage of it now, glad I'm not flying today! Quote Link to comment

Mr'D
I used one of these for the first time a few weeks ago. Within 12 hrs after I placed it, the FTF logged it with comment 'log was damp'. Maybe I was unlucky. Jon Quote Link to comment
Pharisee
I've used one of these to hold 'additional information' on one of my caches. It's located close to a river, has a tiny, laminated card inside and has been in place for about eighteen months with no problems what-so-ever. (Apart from the "I can't find it" sort) Quote Link to comment
FunLovingGeocacher
Found one in Italy, they make good micros. The one I found was magnetically attached to some rails Edited August 10, 2006 by FunLovingGeocacher Quote Link to comment
