+wesleykey
Let's have a thread to post our favorite pictures taken while geocaching. I'll get started with these: Link Can anyone identify the species of these? These were all taken today as I hiked about 5 miles to get 5 caches. ParentsofSAM
We usually have writing spiders like that around our house every year but this year we have only seen one baby. I wonder if it just has been too hot and dry here for them..... Nice pics! Edited August 6, 2006 by ParentsofSAM Quote Link to comment

+Webfoot
Due to circumstances beyond my control, I was not able to go camping with the Tadpole this year as we usually do. To compensate for that, I took him into the city, via the Metrolink, Subway and electric train to the Long Beach Aquarium of the Pacific. I got this picture of him enjoying a 250 lb. seabass with only a pane of glass between them, albeit a very thick pane of glass. Quote Link to comment
rbrugman
What was the hint ? Hint: No need to cross the muddy stream. HAHA! Can't say I've never been in the mud. I was crossing a log once and the bark seperated from the tree and I went in. Turns out the cache wasn't even across the swamp. My bad! Quote Link to comment
+Iowa Tom
I took the picture below while out one night under a full moon. We were placing a cache at the base of the tree pictured. Actually my nephew was the button pusher but I told him how to set it up. I had only 15 seconds to get the job done using a little penlight I have on my keychain. In the trial run I misspelled the word. My nephew could hardly stop laughing. The image has been enhanced to bring up the brightness. Here’s a link to the cache page. Before I did made this Moonlight Madness cache I took this this “day vs. night” comparison picture at my Gordi was here! cache. Quote Link to comment
