+Momyar
Is there anyway to have an email or some kind of posting when there's a Green Jeep near by? I've looked but haven't found anything. Thanks! Quote Link to comment
+LZ33
I couldn’t find anything. I put a green Jeep in a cache along with a coin and the only icon on the listing page was the icon for “multiple coins.” You would have to open the cache’s page to see that there is a Jeep. Quote Link to comment

Hey, you're right! That's not good. http://www.geocaching.com/seek/nearest.asp...mp;lon=-84.8003 First cache. Quote Link to comment
+BlueDeuce
I'm going to report this in the gc web forum. Quote Link to comment
+MountainMudbug
Geez, that really will make them harder to find! Hope they can adjust it so the GJTBs are the dominant icons in a multi-bug situation..... or maybe they did that on purpose to make it more challenging? Quote Link to comment
+welch
It seems like this is only a problem when there are coins listed in the cache. If its normal dogtag TBs its ok, see example. Quote Link to comment

Yep, I noticed. But if I give gc.com too much info they lose attention and then interest in reading my posting. Quote Link to comment
Mark Twain Impersonator
Is there any way to locate a GJTB in my area? Besides looking at all the cache listings. Is there some option on the jeep/geocaching website that says something like "locate Jeep Traval Bugs neat you"? I really want to find one as I've never found any Jeep TB. Quote Link to comment
+fishingdude720
If your a Premium Member I guess you can run a PQ on Travel Bugs in caches. Quote Link to comment
+Eartha
I was marking bugs missing the other day and posting notes on the bug pages and it didn't show up right away. I thought I had messed up and redid one log, then boom, I had two logs on the page. Did anyone go back and check again to see if the icon showed up later? Quote Link to comment
+BlueDeuce
Just did, it's not and the jeep is still sitting in the cache. I figure at some point it's going to get picked up and the example will be gone. Quote Link to comment
+Eartha
I see a Jeep Icon on the example list link. Don't you? Quote Link to comment
+BlueDeuce
On this one? http://www.geocaching.com/seek/nearest.asp...mp;lon=-84.8003 no. (I checked both Firefox and IE) Inside the cache yes, nearest search results, no. Edited August 4, 2006 by BlueDeuce Quote Link to comment
+BlueDeuce
Highlight the icon. Right now it is incorrectly showing the Jeep as a Geocoin - so it is there but just hidden in the stacked coin image. Other caches without coins in them would show the icon. I have discovered and fixed it on the development machine but don't plan to release the new code until Tuesday. I'm not a big fan of releasing code right before a long weekend. Thanks for pointing out the issue. Quote Link to comment
+Eartha
Nope, it was on the first example posted bywelch. I do see that if I mouse over the multiple coins icon, it pops up a list of what's in the cache though, including the jeep. Quote Link to comment
+SeabeckTribe
There is a Green Jeep in this event - GCW3WC It also has the green jeep icon. Happy Caching Quote Link to comment
