Waymark Ratings (?)

Some categories have a variable for rating the item or something quality item about it. Some have something like this in the waymark's description.

 

I think this isn't such a good and fair idea. All ratings (if they are even required by a category's management) should be only in the logs, not the waymark itself.

 

Example:

 

A category is for a type of restaurant. They very day a waymarker first comes to the restaurant, there's some kind of problem there on that particular day. The waymark is established with some not-so-good rating or description-of-quality. So, everyone who looks at the waymark from then on figures it's a bad place, when in actuality, this was a once-in-x-years-or-months event. Not fair.

 

I'm not a fan of ratings myself, but if the originators of a category think there should be a rating on some aspect of the waymark, the rating thing should only be required in the Logs.
