+TerryDad2
Eventhough chstress53 has tried in many threads to explain the category vs sub-category thing, I am still at a loss. If there is no such thing as a sub-category and everything is a category that TPTB place into the index, why does the directory list subcategories (such as More Building Subcategories...)? As each person suggests a category they have in mind a place where it would fit in the index. Thus they call thier proposed category a sub-category of where they want it placed. Is it wrong to call it a sub-category only because it hasn't been placed in the index yet? Does it become a sub-category once it has been placed in the index by TPTB? Does it really matter what you call it? Link to comment
OpinioNate
You can't place waymarks in sub-categories; only in user managed categories. That's the difference. We're discussing the confusion this causes over here. Link to comment
