+media601
I know this has been covered before, but I can't find the thread. If someone has both Mapsource topo and City Select maps (covering the same area) loaded into a 60CS, can you switch between them, or does the street map always take precedence? Thanks. bgarland
Yes. Just go into the set up map menu and slect "Hide City Select". Then CS maps will not be displayed and the topo maps will be seen. If both City Select and Topo are set to show, City Select will be seen and not Topo. Quote Link to comment
CenTexDodger
Yes and Yes. The street map does take precedence, but you follow the following sequense to get to your topo maps: Menu->setup map->info tab->menu->Hide City Select->enter. That should allow the Topo maps to be viewable. Quote Link to comment

When you are selecting map regions for your city maps, before sending to the gps switch mapsource to topo and select the regions you want.... now send. Quote Link to comment

You have to create a map set in Mapsource with both topo and street maps in the "Maps" tab, then upload the whole thing. A new map set always overwrites the old one in the GPS. You can't add maps to an existing set in the GPS. Thanks for the replies regarding my question of switching between maps. Quote Link to comment
