California To Australia... A Little Help?

Hi All,

I've got a bug (RoundTrip Elmobug) that's been travelling for about 4-1/2 years. It started in Virginia with a goal of: 1st, getting to Australia and being found by a specific young lady (Fiona). and 2nd, to return to the USA and find its way back to Virginia Beach. Once in Va Beach, Fiona's Brother Marc (Crikey) will find it.

Well, after this 4-1/2 year period it is in California, and needs to get on a plane to Australia. Anyone going there? If so, can you grab my bug and take him with you?

I'd appreciate it. Here's a link to the Bug: http://www.geocaching.com/track/details.as...60-15bafa2f69bd

And here's a link to his current position (As of this posting 7/24/06):

Thanks for any help you can give. (If you can help, send me an email? Thanks!)

Hi ALl,

Thanks for the link correction. I appreciate it. But I have a question; How do these "Stargate" caches work? What do I need to do to get Elmo involved in one. I see that there is a Stargate cache in Australia, too. That'd be really cool, if he can actually get to Australia!

Any hints/tips are welcome.

Thanks,

Brian

the link to the bug keeps giving me a bad request error (http 400).

Try This link for the TB.

have you got a stargate cache close by to drop it in? i heard thats the quickest way to get them to other destinantions.

The Southern California one (Stargate P34117 TB Cache, GCRNX8) is only 104 miles from the bug's current location.

It's just like a regular cache; you just drop the TB in it. Attach a little note to the TB saying that its destination is "P32115 (Australia)"; also mention the destination in your on-line log. It'll get there eventually.
