tserof
Have any of you dealt with coinsandpins.com to have your coins minted? Do any of you suggest anyone else? We almost have the money to mint our coins so hopefully within a few months we will have a Zen Bassmaster coin. We have a rough sketch of the front side but have multiple ideas for the backside. We may make a run of 100 special ones that we don't sell with a special back on it and a second run of coins to sell with a different back. The special 100 we would only use for trading at events and giving to friends. The second run we would sell. Just trying to get ideas together right now. You may want to read our geocaching adventures to understand why we want to have our own coin. that is our journal of our adventures. Edited July 23, 2006 by tserof Quote Link to comment
SeabeckTribe
PersonalGeocoins Rusty did a fabulous job on both of our coins. (SeabeckTribe and GeoPoker Run Event) He's a great person to work with and will help you create any design you want. He has a good imitation. Good luck with your first geocoin. Quote Link to comment
4BOWS
CoinsandPins did our coin and we were very happy with the service and with the results. They were very helpful and did a great job working with us to get exactly what we wanted. Here is what our coin looks like. Good luck with your coin. Quote Link to comment
LadeBear68
Coins and pins produced my coins. I would not go with anyone else due to quality, customer service and speed. Quote Link to comment
tserof
Our coin should only be 2 colors, black and white, to keep with the zen theme. We want geocaching.com tracking and epoxy coating. We are thinking 2D on both sides. What is the average price per 100 coins to mint? Quote Link to comment
Lemon Fresh Dog
Both my Geobones and my Red-Handed coins were produced by Coins and Pins. I have nothing but positive -- nay -- EXTREMELY positive things to say about them. They produce "heavier", more solid coins that have real coin "feel' to them. I think this is because of the thickness and the metal they use. I just am a big, big fan of their quality. Quote Link to comment
AtlantaGal
I think coins and pins, oak coins and chquality coins have the nicest quality coins. I don't think you could go wrong with any of them. Quote Link to comment
pdxmarathonman
I would add that AtlantaGal has listed them in the proper order of quality. Quote Link to comment
crake
I would also give nod to C&P. I used them for Bluebonnet, Tracking Time, Rhode Island, NAVSTAR, and Monarch before I went solo. For prices, I've heard that people like to use the calculator at Oak Coins to get a ballpark. Quote Link to comment
CacheHunters42
You should be able to get 100 of those coins for $515.00 or less trackable and delivered. Edited July 23, 2006 by CacheHunters42 Quote Link to comment
Prairiepartners
There is a pinned topic on this subject. I hope this doesn't turn into a free advertisement place for those that mint coins. Quote Link to comment
