Getting A New 1gb Card For My 60csx....what Is Maximum Number Of Map Segments?

Recommended Posts

yea, I remembered it being around that and just found it

so, is there a way around it so I can load more maps? or I am limited to only 2025 right now?

it's a firmware limit, i assume they could increase it if they feel like it

I was just trying to get as many of my TOPO and City Nav 8 on that I can

To maximize the efficiency, put more City Nav maps on.

that is what I was thinking since the segments are bigger.

hey, one more ?...........I just recieved city nav 8 and I I know that if you install more than one set of maps that the one with the highest detail will be show and that to show the other you have to hit menu and hide map City nav ......but I was wondering do you have to do that for each map segment individually or once you hide a map it does it for the entire maps?

You can do it for entire map sets. Check out Sputnik's Fequently Asked Questions about Garmin Map60CS (and Similar) GPS Receivers - specifically #9 in the "Loading and Managing Maps" section
