Looking For Geocaches In France

Hi

We are new to this geocaching ( that is the hole famly). We have wetted are appetite on the local caches but would like to look for more on hoiliday. We are off to france on the middi cannal and it would be great fun to try to find some more caches there. Is there any sites that we can look at that would help us.

You will also discover that there aren't too many caches in France, they recently passed the 1000 caches milestone for the whole country. I think there is a competing french listing site that is more popular, but I don't know its name. As usual, the french insist on doing things their own way...

Look for – Outils – down the left hand side of page. Then click on link ‘Geo-Carto‘ on the new page click on the map which will take you to a map of France with all the caches on. Just click on caches to get GC details displayed.

Click on your country required then enter town name to get the long/lat of the town. Then all you have to do is enter this in to the GC. Search for caches in that area.
