Need Gps Help

I NEED SOME HELP WITH DOWNLOAD MY GPS .I HAVE ONE MAGELLAN GOLD ,AND ONE LEGENDC ,WELL I DO USE EASYMAPS TO DOWNLOAD ON ,BUT NOW I CAN DOWNLOAD THE LEGENDC BUT NOT THE MEGELLAN GOLD ,I KNOW YOU HAVE TO SWICTH IT OVER FORM THE LEGEND C TO MAGELLAN BUT WHEN ITS STARTS TO DOWNLOAD ,I WONT TAKE ,AND SEND ME A BOX SAYING ERROR .IF SOMEONE CAN HELP I THANK YOU .

First of all, don't "shout." Second, I can't even understand what you're trying to say, you should try to explain your problem more clearly.

Well, first off, GPS's are not downloaded - they're purchased

But, that aside, what is it that you're trying to download (to the GPS I assume?) A map? When I couldn't download at first, it was because my cable was plugged into the GPS upside down. Also, I'm still fairly new with this so I'm not sure what EasyMap is but perhaps Magellan doesn't support it? I'm just stabbing in the dark here, hopefully someone else can give you better answers.

In two of them, you got the same advice: check your baud rate. Perhaps it would be better if you kept the same thread going, tried the advice, and reported back your results instead of starting a new thread each time.

 

People are willing to help but cannot read your mind. You have to explain the problem as best as you can and give as many details as you can.

thanks, i took you advice ,its hard for me to explain the problem ,i am so sorry ,i was driving anybody nuts .you are right about the setting on my gps .thanks for all your trouble .
